About

Hedgehog Rescue South Gloucestershire, founded in 1999 by Val Robinson and Yvonne Cox, is now run by Yvonne from her garden in Yate. The rescue is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers who assist daily with hedgehog care. They take in over 300 hedgehogs each year and can house up to 70 at any given time. Entirely self-funded, the rescue relies on local council grants, community support, and kind donations. Yvonne also conducts educational talks to raise funds.

Operating seven days a week, Hedgehog Rescue offers a comprehensive care service for hedgehogs, ensuring they are well-looked after and have the best chance of recovery and eventual release.
