Established in 1737, it has a legacy of notable members including Charles Darwin and Sir Joseph Lister. The RMS aims to enhance the medical education of its members and foster a community among Edinburgh medical students. Located in the Student Centre at Potterrow, the RMS offers facilities and funding for electives and research projects.
The RMS is accessible with a hearing loop, wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and toilet. It operates from 9 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday, and 12 pm to 10 pm on weekends.
