About

Autism & Neurodiversity North Scotland (A-ND) was established in 1987 to address the needs of autistic individuals in north east Scotland. It was the first organisation of its kind in the region, providing specific support to autistic individuals, their families, and wider support networks. Over time, A-ND has grown into a parent-run organisation, now a registered charity, with a team of over 60 staff members. They offer direct, ongoing support and services to over 200 individuals and their families across the north of Scotland, including in-person and online support groups.

The charity is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that their facilities and services are available to all, including those in the LGBTQ+ community and transgender individuals.
