About
Wallsend Boys Club (WBC) was established in 1904 by Swan Hunters Shipyard employees to provide recreational activities for apprentices and young people. Initially focusing on boxing, the club has evolved to support young people through organised sports and activities. Located on Station Road, the club building opened in 1966. WBC aims to help young people achieve their potential and realise their ambitions.
The club is open from 9 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, with peak times around 6 pm and 5 pm. Facilities include a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance.
