Macro Polo has been a cherished shopping destination in Portsmouth for 40 years. Originally established by Will Berliner in August 1979, the store has maintained its reputation for providing a unique shopping experience. After 25 years, Conrad Desrosiers and Sue Sawtelle took over, continuing the legacy. In August 2018, Jennifer Sweatt, the previous manager, bought the business with a vision to keep it a landmark retailer. Located on 89 Market Street, Macro Polo focuses on offering a fun shopping experience with a wide selection of novelty gifts.

Open seven days a week from 11 AM to 6 PM, Macro Polo is wheelchair accessible and welcomes all visitors, including the LGBTQ+ community. The store offers in-store pickup and shopping, along with onsite services. Multiple payment options are accepted.
