About
The Hospital Block in London, originally constructed in 1718, is a significant historical landmark. It was initially built as two houses for Ordnance clerks and later served as the hospital for the Tower garrison. Despite sustaining damage during a 1940 air raid, the remaining part of the building has been preserved and converted into flats for Tower of London officials.
The building is wheelchair accessible and features Flemish bond brickwork, three storeys, a basement, and an attic. It is listed alongside the terrace and iron railings in front.
