About
The Lorna Wing Centre for Autism was established to address the need for comprehensive diagnostic assessments for individuals with social and communication disorders. Named after Dr Lorna Wing, a co-founder of the National Autistic Society, the centre offers a complete diagnostic, assessment, and advice service for children, adolescents, and adults. The centre in Kent was founded in 1991, with a second centre in Essex opening in 2017 to meet increasing demand.
The centre is wheelchair accessible and operates from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. It is important to note that walk-in appointments are not accepted.
