About

Sew What? was founded in 2013 with a mission to teach hand sewing in primary schools. We believe that children of all ages should start sewing with proper needles. In 2018, we expanded our offerings with Sewing Machine Kits, designed to help new sewing machine owners master essential skills. Our clubs are available in Junior and Senior Schools, as well as after school and on Saturdays at the Sew What? Studio.

Our Sewing Machine Kits are simple, beautiful, and useful, available in a variety of playful colourways. Each kit is crafted to boost creative confidence and open up a world of creativity. In September 2019, Sew What? was selected by Kirsty Allsopp to appear at the Handmade Festival.
