Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney

Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney provides a supportive community for up to 32 formerly homeless individuals, known as companions. Through its social enterprises, including secondhand shops and a cafe, the charity funds its work while offering meaningful employment opportunities. The shops in Ditchingham and Norwich sell high-quality second-hand items, and the Old Orchard Cafe serves homemade meals and drinks. Donations of pre-loved items are welcome, with options for collection by arrangement.

The charity shop in Ditchingham is open Tuesday through Sunday, offering a wide range of second-hand clothing, furniture, and homewares. The cafe provides a welcoming atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, featuring homemade light lunches, cakes, and hot drinks prepared on-site by staff and companions.
