About

Parkside Veterinary Surgery, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019, remains an independently owned practice dedicated to the community. The practice is progressive, investing in new equipment and techniques to benefit pets. Mr Gemmill, one of the first surgeons in the UK to offer laparoscopic surgery, has performed hundreds of laparoscopic spays and now offers an advanced gastropexy technique. The practice provides orthopaedic services, dental radiography and surgery, and ultrasonography, supported by a fully equipped internal laboratory. Five qualified veterinary nurses (RVNs) are employed.

Open from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 5 pm on weekends, Parkside Veterinary Surgery is wheelchair accessible with a free parking lot. Appointments are recommended, and the practice is busiest around 3 pm and 4 pm.
